# React SPA Specification for Jargon File
## Application Overview
This is a Single Page Application that presents the jargon file - a collection of writings about classical computer hacker culture. The application will allow users to browse, search, and explore jargon entries in an organized and accessible manner.
## Technical Requirements
### Core Features
1. **Entry Display**: Show jargon terms with their definitions
2. **Search Functionality**: Search through jargon entries by term or definition
3. **Navigation**: Browse entries with pagination or infinite scroll
4. **Responsive Design**: Works on mobile, tablet, and desktop
5. **Filtering**: Filter entries by category or keyword
### Data Structure
Each jargon entry should contain:
- Term (required)
- Definition (required)
- Category (optional)
- Related terms (optional)
- Date added (optional)
### UI Components
1. **Header** - Application title and navigation
2. **Search Bar** - For searching jargon terms
3. **Entry List** - Grid or list view of jargon entries
4. **Entry Detail** - Detailed view of a specific entry
5. **Footer** - Application information and links
## Development Approach
### Project Setup
- Use create-react-app or similar tool
- Implement with modern React patterns (hooks, functional components)
- Use TypeScript for type safety (optional but recommended)
- Configure ESLint and Prettier
### State Management
- Use React hooks for state management
- Consider Redux or Context API for complex state
